HTR managed a public contract for the disposal of sewage sludge produced by the Valle del Chiampo tanning district in Veneto, the most important tanning district in Italy in terms of production and number of employees, and one of the largest in the world.
HTR managed a framework agreement relating to the R11 recovery of fly ash deriving from the waste-to-energy process of a German mine. The ashes, which were managed with notification according to the Gen. Reg. (EC) no. 1013/2006 on cross-border shipments, were transported via silos. They were then recovered after being mixed with a liquid; after that, the resulting mixture was pumped in liquid form into the underground cavities of the salt mines.
