The division deals with all the technical, operational and documentary aspects related to the management of waste sent to recovery and disposal plants.

We aim at optimizing the technical aspects with an environmental perspective, which is why we choose sites that prefer reuse over waste disposal.

Lastin acquisition.

Acquisition of 100% of Lastin's share capital

In the summer of 2020, HTR acquired 100% of the share capital of Lastin, a company owning an important industrial site in Pomezia consisting in a warehouse covering an area of 8,000 square meters. With this extraordinary operation, HTR inaugurates its plant development and management activity, thus covering each and every step of an innovative and sustainable waste management process.

This represents a strategic operation for HTR, since the industrial complex offers the opportunity to design a plant for the recovery of proprietary hazardous and non-hazardous waste.

Siderurgica Tiburtina.

Exclusive agreement for the Siderurgica Tiburtina S.R.L. steel plant

Thanks to an exclusive commercial agreement, from March 2021 HTR started to transfer waste flows to the Siderurgica Tiburtina plant.

The plant, which is located in Guidonia Montecelio, is allowed to receive an annual quantity of 35,420 tons of waste, of which a maximum of 7,420 tons of hazardous waste.

With this operation, HTR continues its plant development and management activity, following four treatment lines:

COSECO.

Design of the COSECO waste sterilization plant with HTR being 33% shareholder

HTR is a member of the CO.SE.CO. plant, which is located in the industrial area of Terni.

The plant is allowed to receive an annual quantity of 3,000 tons of waste, of which a maximum of 2,000 tons of hazardous waste.

HTR is developing a sanitary waste sterilization plant with an hourly productivity of 500 kg/h, consisting of two parallel lines.

Purify.

Exclusive Agreement with the Purify plant

Thanks to an exclusive commercial agreement, in March 2021 HTR started to transfer waste flows to the plant Purify. The plant is located in Nera Montoro (TR) and is allowed to treat industrial liquid waste (ILW) for a capacity of 58,000 t / year pursuing the following objectives:

Intercept liquid waste flows that are currently sent to plants located outside central Italy;
Increase the territorial competitive capacities, the plant equipment and the sustainability balance of the purification activities;
Reduce the transport of these materials and favour their treatment and recycling.

With this operation, HTR continues its plant development and management activity, following two treatment lines:
